Milli shoe box




Designer: Recent calpilnano university graduate Jenny Kim
"the name milli is short for 'millimetres', the unit that measures the size of bullets.
it is also for 'millisecond' which is often the margin of victory in a foot race.
the show is placed inside a bullet -shaped box, a symbol of power and speed.

Hana by shige hasegawa design



Hana means flower in japan.
the table consists of five interlocking, plywood, petal-shaped legs slotted through a glass top.
the lamp called hana stretch is made of metal frame covered in fabric that is fastened with a zip.
use of origami technique to design the table and the light.

Mona Lisa made of 3,604 cups of coffee






3,604 cups of coffee that had been made into a giant Mona Lisa. People walk around a giant Mona Lisa made out of 3,604 cups of coffee in Sydney, Australia, thursday July 16, 2009.
the 3,604 cups were each filled with different amount of milk to create the different shades needed for design, which is part of the Rocks Aroma Festival.
